Thought someone else would have posted by now but couldn't find anything. The results of SCD 2010 shown last night on BBC1 were: Winner - Tara & Artem

2nd - Matt & Aliona.

3rd - Pamela & James



Well deserved winners and IMO this year's 'Strictly' has produced the best talent.

thank you swanee, you know how much i adore the programme but sadly probably wont see this for 2 years, where did anne widdacome come in this xxx . i miss it so much sunday nights are so boring now, got 2008 weakest link on now. Lilli - We were thinking of you when posting this - knew how much you loved the show. Dear old Widdy didn't really come anywhere of course. Lost out just before the semi-finals. Given the sheer brilliance and talent of the final 3, the 'Widdy entertainment' show had to end or all that hard work from the 'serious' dancers would have been a travesty of justice.

Lilli - Yes, she was. Played the part of Dawn Miller. As for another series, too early to tell. We don't get told anything till about 6-8 weeks before the contestants start their initial rehearsals to prepare them for the opening night's dancing.

Lilli - don't know the answer to that! If you can, get an order in for the dvd early in the new year. You'll be really in awe of Pamela (as most of us were) and what a great advert she's become for the 'mature' lady !!

The oldest ever finalist in such a physically demanding show. But Kara, well, she was born to dance and just needed the chance to showcase her brilliant talent.

Lilli, just wanted to add a little something to this thread which I think you will find interesting. Tara and Artem are goint to be an item from now on....they were waiting for the Strictly to finish before taking their friendship any further but they were going on their first proper date tonight!!! Ahhhh, they do make a lovely couple, and you can tell in their body language that they adore each other..............

See how easy it is to slip up) Yes, seems that many relationships have been formed over the years on Strictly - Matt & Flavia (together for around 3 years I think), Brian Fortuna & Abi (last year, since parted) Flavia (again!) & Jimmy Mistry on this year's show and of course the current winning duo. But no - Widdy & Anton didn't get it on! lol

Lilli - Its that silly thing, you know, about nuns & what they wear (i.e. habits) ? I tripped myself up on that one by trying to be funny - sorry! But there really IS a lovely German white wine (type of Hock I think) called Blue Nun and it comes in a blue bottle. Very much a ladies drink IMO. All this has nothing to do with Strictly so I'll sign off now!
