An opinion poll revealed distrust among North Cyprus people and Greek

The survey discovered that both the communities are not satisfied with each other’s conduct but still some wants the peace talks to be successful and reunification of the island. 800 North Cyprus people and 800 Greek Cypriot people participated in the opinion pool and found that 70 percent North Cyprus and 84 percent Greek Cypriot people showed lack of trust among each other

The poll also indicated that 68 percent of Greek Cypriots and 65 percent of Turkish Cypriots want a settlement. The survey was conducted in the month of September 2010.

Hang on a mo. This was 1600 people being asked their opinion. Isn't that rather a small sample despite the size of Cyprus. I wouldn't pay too much attention to that.

The best poll was for Annan vote. 65% of TCs and 35% of GCs voted for despite the negativity of the southern Cyprus government and media.

Let them agree and let Akel and Disy support the agreement and then see the outcome.

Don't pay no attention to apc, she is up to her usual antiques.

Don't think we need surveys or anything else for that matter to know that everyone on the island wants peace...it's just that hardly anyone wants reunification ....just as the situation is at present!
