Can any body tell me what time this will take place in Northern Cyprus?

It looks like it will be starting around 8.30am with a total eclipse at around 9.40am Cyprus time. First time it has coincided with the Winter Solstice since 1638.

Surely it will not be visible in North Cyprus. A lunar eclipse is caused by the earth's shadow, so the sun and moon cannot be seen at the same time and it will be daylight at 08:30..

The Earth's shadow is somewhat larger than the Earth itself but having said that there is obviously an optimum position. Unusually, this eclipse will include a brief period when both the sun and eclipsed moon are above the horizon and appear precisely opposite each other in the sky known as a selenehelion.

The map appears to confirm that Cyprus will not experience an eclipse this time. Msg 4
