If you can't spell the title correctly why should we take your post seriously?

Trying to discredit the TRNC will not get you far on this board, so why bother?

How do you guys think Mrs T and Edwina Curry got to where they did? Its the world over. It is the oldest profession on earth. So my question is why pick on TRNC?

It's just another country. This last bit my cousins in the south will not like. Although they do like to visit the nightclubs by the coast and also further inland.

Yfred...msg 8

I never had you down as an ignorant misogynist, but are you truly saying that women can only achieve positions of status, power, responsiblity and importance by using sex?

And I mean sex as an action rather than sex as a gender.

Is this what you are saying?

If we are to open up this debate - I am sure those who did not know about it will find out that female influence (and sexual attraction) has been a great weapon throughout history. There is no shortage of it, either here or anywhere else in the World today. This is not a war of genders, and our female fellow humans have my greatest respect as our equals - however, there is no denying that sex has been and "can be" used to get to a position or to find wealth. But that probably shows more a weakness on men's part, since they are the ones used.

Am I wrong in thinking we as men are at an unfair disadvantage? I would have loved to make love all the way to a top profession or perhaps buying a small palace

There was a mid week edition and i did read this article, it concerned a woman from Lefkosa caught prostituting herself to feed her kids, she also had another couple of women working" for her".

The point they were making was that when this was plastered all over the turkish papers she was named fully and yet the men that she was caught with were not named. There was also mention of the police asking for favours.

Surely the woman was named because she was in receipt of monies. If the men were named there would soon be no punters wishing to use or pay the woman. As far as I am concerned prostitutes and those who use them are equally inadequate.

Fred,

My claim to fame is that Edwina C actually said to me during an official ministerial visit: "Don't you want to come upstairs?" I felt all funny but I were just a lad.

The fact Edwina C had any sexual draw still baffles me........or the fact that she & John Major had a 'thing'

It must have been between sessions of him watching the cricket....quite right too!

When a student at Liverpool Uni I met Ediwina & she even kissed me on the cheek, I have never met a woman who looked more like a man.....
