If you are travelling from Girne, enter Lapta on the main road. The Stumble Inn is on the main strip on the left-hand side. It is just after Celebrity and just before the LA Hotel. There is a green sign and you take a left then follow the track up and round. I've not been in for a while, but will probably pop in myself this week if it is indeed now open!

One of the Stumbles better features is that it doesn't have a big screen tv or any other kind of tv so one can have a drink without the soccer louts company!

Fair play, the place needs to bring in business and footy is a way of doing it.

Would you want to run a business with the lack of tourists this year and depend on local expats who always complain of having little cash?......i think not

Last thing I would want to do while on holiday is to be stuck in front of a telly or a room full of people cheering on while i am trying to eat or drink.

I can see it being fun off season, gotta keep the expats happy, footy and a buffet oh and the efes.

I guess there is a demand for it, so be it..Good luck to them.

in there today ,everything appears in order. the long awaited return of the bookshelf is nigh, so if you pop in bring some unwanted reading material to fill it up! it can be located just under the tv! also a new pool table. the outside seating area has lost its conference room look so folk can now sit in relative privacy if they wish!! i for one would like to see all the old faces back, have had some great laughs in there, the staff are polite and attentive and mick is on the case for a fun quiz nite, saturday nite music and the ever popular kerryoke, mentioned earlier and back this weekend (14th 3pm) with free buffet as usual. lets get behind the mad one and help him out, good prices, improved stock and the art work isnt too bad either!!
