Can anyone tell me how to fix my BBC i player and desktop. It has been working fine (via MPN) and we have been thoroughly enjoying UK programmes (Accused/X Factor etc) and were looking forward to The Royale Family Xmas special etc. Now it seems to download (slower than usual) a programme and the programme is then showing on i player desktop as normal - but when i try to play it it plays the BBC intro then a messgae comes up "There was a problem during download" and the programme then just disappears as if it was never there. I have tried differant times of day on several programmes and it is the same thing.

I have unistalled it and then reinstalled but the same thing is happening.

Does anyone have any ideas ?? Thanks and Merry Christmas everyone.

Hi,

If you disconnect from the internet when you watch the programme it should work OK.

Give it a try.

Hi , I had this A LOT in the early days..

I found that un-installing and upgrading my version of windows media often helped..

Help you read these help files?

MPN are very helpful if you have any problems and will guide you through any procedures. Send them an e-mail - they came back to us very fast when we had a complicated problem with ours.

It is certainly not an MPN problem, but they are very helpful ..

Thanks,
