| Many members seem to agree that C44 used to be and should be again an INFORMATIVE forum, mainly about (NORTHERN) CYPRUS.
I have decided to support this idea.
Content that cannot be found on Youtube, on joke sites and other easy copy/paste sites hardly get a chance on C44 anymore, because such posts are forced to the bottom by imo too much nonsense.
I know that quality posts never can win from quantity (bulletin boards are not different from news papers), but at least we can keep INFORMATIVE posts alive by writing a supporting reply.
From now on I'll support INFORMATIVE posts about NORTHERN CYPRUS with a reply. I hope more members will do it.
On the other hand it would be so nice if more people would post about (NORTHERN) CYPRUS. Just an example, why not more about nature: mountain and flower walks (ever heard of Tony and Maureen?), flowers, birds (I would like to read about them in English), gardens (are only UK gardens interesting?) etc? |

| Thank you, cooper, for once more showing *your* corner on C44. But I know where to find youtube and how to find items that interest me - we obviously don't share the same interest. |

I know the interest on this board in the former capital of Cyprus is overwhelming - so I'll hurry to write posts with updates...  |

I think you missed the Pun. Informative posts are always welcome but like most things their growth and success must be organic. Information can't be force fed to people but that which is interesting will by its nature engender interest. The balance needs to be struck between the trivia, the amusing and the elucidating posts. The catch is that for each individual the balance is different.

| Hans, Jean & I will continue supporting all informative posts, but by the same token we do find other postings amusing, funny or some times nosensical and this is getting back to be a board for all to share things, ie Jeans post telling people we are off to OZ. Harold put it so much better!
