| Great food and fabulous music from Gitano. But the magic of this night was when we were given these large Chinese style lanterns to send into the night sky. We all went down to the beach to light up the lanterns and let them drift up into the sky. If you thought maybe you saw aliens last night, you didn't it was us on the beach at Sardunya. A magic moment for sure, will hopefully have some picture links for you later. |

| I was also able to share the moment with my patner and friends at Sardunya. As Julia says, a magical moment and a great evening of excellent food, (as always), excellent music and a truly brilliant atmosphere. My thanks to Oktay, his family and the team at Sardunya. And a Hapy New Year.

I would think it will be open as everywhere else is, all the supermarkets from Bellapais to Lapta open today so guess the pubs will be as well.

| It was a fab night last night at Sardunya. The music was great and the atmosphere warm and cosy and we too enjoyed watching the lanterns. Despite a little bit of rain how fantastic to be able to be on the beach on New Years Eve. Oktay, Ipek, Nedim and all the staff at Sardunya are just such lovely people who really want their guests to enjoy their little piece of paradise. Looking forward to spending lots of time there in 2011. |

| any pics of the lanterns i to sent a lantern of in memory of my granson whom died last new years eve aged 29 days was lovely to do and watch i love it at sarduna bay wish id thought to go and light it there and take a pic |
