I would like to thank everyone so far who has downloaded the book.

I'm surprised with the response to it.

Constructive criticism is more than welcome with view to improving it and doing a second edition including anything that people thought was missing.

Please reply with and feed back to Qtrading@hotmail.co.uk

Also this coming week I am installing a customer comments page on the web site http://www.britebooks.co.uk for anyone to leave feedback giving me the chance to make improvements.

I`m adding on average 5 new Title`s a day, So feel free to pop back now and again to see if anything catches your eye.

Thanks again everyone.

cheers paul , good info on the book , do you know of any good fishing spots near tatlisu, as i have a place at sweetwater bay and are allways up for a bit fishing whilst on holiday.

have you tried any fresh water fishing in cyprus as there is a few decent size lakes about do you have any info on these, i tried one lake and only managed small carp and nothing else

fished last august approx 10mls out of girne harbour with ladyboss and courght tuna approx 20lb , these went like stink when hooked and i would say the hardest fighting fish pound for pound i have had the pleasure of catching.

Thanks for that, Mr Spider said post 13 sounds exciting, what bait did you use..Thats me asking as he never caught a darn thing today and I could do a lot with a tuna that size.

spider

no bait used only a plastic lure let out on some line behind the boat, i am sure that at the right time of the year tuna fishing could be quite good of cyprus, it was amazing going out to catch this type of fish as when you hook one you know youre in for one hell of a fight.

it took me two weeks to eat what i courght , total was 40lb of tuna a bit less once cut up and put in the freezer , i just couldnt eat it all before i went home and handed some out to people on our complex.

carnt wait to come back and give it another go.

In the Seychelles on a 4hour trip I caught a bluefin tuna estimated by the skipper to be 180kg - but we couldn't get it into the boat. I also caught 4 sailfish (3 tagged and released) the biggest of which was 52kg. The tuna was really hard work but the sailfish were the most fun and I would prefer them to a tuna any day. They are unbelievably fast and when they come out of the water and tail walk it is stunning to watch and very difficult to keep them on the line. Sailfish are better eating also. I also caught a small wahoo which is another brilliant fighting fish. If someone knows how to post it I have a good picture of the sailfish. Wahoo and sailfish are rare but are caught in the Med.

Spider. It's the wrong time of year for tuna here - May to October is generally considered the season although I have caught them in both April and November. At this time of year greater amberjack (locally called Mineri and beautiful to eat) and barracuda (not very nice) are the most likely catch.
