I watched that file - The Bucket List .... what a funny but sad film, briliant acting by the fantastic Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman ...anyhow it got me thinking - what would I want to do, if I knew the end of my days are nigh ........

What about the members of the forum ....what would be the one thing that would definately have to do if you know you were about to kick the bucket ....?

Get my title deeds, snagging done, house according to contract, not be blackmailed. Then maybe I can relax and retire as I came here to do!

For me it would of course revolve around my family - spending time with them and making sure they are in no doubt over how much they mean to me.

There is another thing - if I were able to travel, that is. Me and the hubby sponsor 2 children in Africa, one in Zambia, the other in Senegal. I'd love to go and visit them, see how they are doing, what their lives and culture are really like and maybe do something or provide something extra that would really help them and their commuities. It's probably something I'll never be able to do but the dream is always there.

Kitty1......

Your posting bought a smile to my face....what a lovely caring person you are.

I too would want to spend my time with my family and if time allowed....being a horse lover I would want to return to the island of Mauritus and ride the beautiful Arab horses I rode on the sandy beaches where I spent my honeymoon.

when someone does something bad to me, i usually wait for the revenge moment because i know at some point it will happen. i'm the patient type.so for me it would be to dish it up, to all those horrible people who thought they got away with it.

I think it would be a prayer. It's the next life I am worried about, not this one!

If the end was nigh I would like to be able to organise a big party for the family and all be together when we go. No I haven't seen the film so I dont know if it was one person or the whole world who was about to depart but my wish would still be the same.

I would give all I had to charity and spend my time trying to do as many good deeds as possible and praying to God that I go to heaven and not hell. Where hopefully I will be reunited with my family and friends.
