Last night, an hour or so after we closed our shop, we just stopped to get something and shocked by the flood inside - it was like a swimming pool. We tried to save our wood furniture, moved around all the sofas. The Civil Defense Team arrived - tried to find the source of water coming in, they could not take the water out - it had to be at least 50 cm deep ours was just about to come up our ankles. But they did come very quickly and the whole team tried to find the source - no luck. The team suggested we vacated the premises as the heavy rain will continue for 11 days at least. The rear of the shop is mostly effected, luckily we came to the shop before all furniture was damaged.

We (homefront ) are moving to emergency base - empty shop above our factory in Alsancak - past Green Petrol, on the turning of Camelot Beach. Until the problem rectified with the landlord, we will be operating from the new premises.

`Keep calm and carry on`

Regards,

Ebru O'Keefe

Hi Ebru, sorry to hear about the flood and hope that you didn't suffer too much loss. Can you still be contacted on the shop phone number?

Hi all,

Many thanks for your good wishes...

Thank God, we stopped at the shop to see our feet was wet up to our sleeves !! we moved everything around immediately, all our fuses burnt all cables were under water. Scooping out the water continued today. Glad it did not rain today !! Cannot stay there like this, everytime it rains same thing will come up and this was the first of the rainy days started just yet !

we will be there I think until the end of this week, it has been really shocking and unforeseen for us.

Our phone numbers are the same except the land line, we will inform when all done.

Many thanks,

Ebru
