Looseboots, I have tried their vpn and it didn't work. My-private-network.co.uk is not working either. I think nethouse have a problem with one of their router or something. Probably got a port closed that should be open.

6ms, happily downloaded your uktvabroad until 'current state connecting'. It has now been downloading data for over an hour,can't get to green completion status. Any advice please.

Sorry was out all day yesterday. I did call before I left though and spoke to Admin and the guy said he was looking in to it but didn't call me back. I will call him again today but perhaps MSG 12 has the correct answer.

Err 800 is normally SOMETHING blocking you connecting to my VPN



1/ Nethouse ?



2/ you might be running Norton 360 or some other 'internet security prog' that replaces the window firewall



I am runnig AVG free ant0virus and the std windows firewall



I have tried to help a Nethouse client this am and am CERTAIN that there connection is blocked locally

I've logged users from Turkey ( prob 'TRNC') S.America, Africa, Siberia, Japan, Oz, NZ etc., with no 'issues'

I'm with Nethouse and and as I have recently had difficulties connecting to their own (test) VPN have added yours (thanks by the way) and it's running fine.



For example I have been watching streamed (not downloaded) telly on iPlayer.

So presumable Nethouse are not blocking your VPN then ....

Without a doubt Nethouse ARE blocking some potential users.. I've remotely connected to a user and seen it for myself..



However, your info demonstrates that the blocking is not wholesale.it would be helpful to know if you know where you connect, to see if there is a pattern

Went to Nethouse office today and girl there confirmed VPN was done for a week but said she did not know about VPN`s and could not confirm about my account being blocked from using mark`s VPN.

She gave me the general e.mail address ( which I had already sent message to with no reply ) and the general office number ( which I have always spent a fortune trying to get through to............so won`````t bother this time.



Ho hum.......will just have to miss my programs....



have Turkcell dongle but signal is such rubbish from here ( Ozankoy ) that can`t get bbci i player to record.

Hi message 31 I left Netouse VPN on and added Mark's and it worked okay . My Nethouse VPN is still down.
