Does anyone know where it is possible to buy mature olive trees in trnc? We are looking to plant some in our new garden in Karagac.

The garden center by the Bellapais traffic lights has a large selection at the back of his shop as he does commercial work, beware they are expensive. If you are coming from the main Girne/Lefkosa roundabout he is 20 yards before the traffic lights on the right.

We had four mature trees moved to our garden about three years ago - only two survived.

Beware, they need huge amounts of watering for the first year or two, so unless you have a well (or a friendly neighbour with one) it will be a risky manouver

Also, they should be transplanted at the end of the autumn, so they have the cooler wetter months to recover, i.e probably the wrong time of year to move them now.
