For the C44 readers in a colder climate...

And for the C44 readers in Northern Cyprus...

Not many visible yet, but...

There's hope...

Smile and wait a couple of weeks...

Northern Cyprus will be yellow again..!

Ach, wie schön!

It is always so touching to see the first sigh of the coming spring – my favourite season of the year – when the slopes of the mountains, the valleys and olive groves are covered with a profusion of yellow oxalis and anemones, forming the most exquisite and beautiful carpets!

Looking forward to do some serious photography this spring.

Staying on this nice topic, could anyone please recommend a book on the flora of Cyprus that one can buy here?

I would like it to be rather comprehensive, covering not only flowers or wild flowers but trees, shrubs, and grasses.

Thank you.

Our garden is starting to look wonderful with this beautiful ground cover, if it were not so damp and muddy I would even consider laying, and lapping up the sunshine amongst it all ) It wont be long before the hot weather gets here and we see nothing but dry unattractive grounds again, This year I hope to get the perfect photograph with all the poppies too.
