Lapta best broadband provider and Dongle coverage?

Hi,



Will shortly be moving to lapta, does anyone know the best and reliable broadband provider in this area as I shall need a good connection for work, I have a usb dongle which i have set up for turkcell and telesim as a backup, but will need to get a hard wired connection, and was wondeing if anyone has any recomendations.

Hi. We live in Lapta (mountain side) and have a Turkcell 3G. Absolutely no problems with it.

If you have a phone line - not usually very hard to get in the Lapta area - then best to go for ADSL. I use Xtranet and have been very happy with both the consistency and speed of their service. The local agent for this provider is Haypem, an electrical shop almost opposite Green Garage on the main Lapta/Alsancak road. Note however that you must ensure that the phone line is in your name as you will have to provide evidence of this to get the phone company to open the port on your phone line. Costs are: 26TL a month to the phone company and, at the moment 300TL a year to Xtranet - this is for 4MB. Can't guarantee that Xtranet's price is still the same as this was a special offer last year.
