BBC weather says heavy showers in Kyrenia today

On bbc's weather today it says that it will be heavy showers in kyrenia today , can any of you guys out there confirm this ? or have they just got it wrong again (Hurricane what hurricane ?) We are coming over tonight and listening to some of you living over there it seems that maybe a good old storm might clear the air a bit , Hope to see some of you guys from the forum during our stay, I will be watching the ryder cup and arsenal games in the Pine Bay club, hope to buy you a efes or two .

Don't fret! BBCWeather.com have been saying heavy showers off and on now for about a month! I got quite excited the first time I saw it, what a fizzer....don't know where they get their info from. Perhaps its a reading of the 'heavy' humidity we've been having?

It's absolutely gorgeous (as always), blue skies, light breeze, about 30ºc, what more can you ask for?

Dont wish to be a Jonah, but I guarantee it will rain on my arrival to Cyprus in the next coming weeks!!!



If it does, I will realise my purpose in life! it has rained almost everytime I go to Cyprus!

For the first day of October, accuweather.com forecasts 'sunny' but colder, with temps at 25c day and 14c night (feeling a degree or two less with the wind).
