Went here last weekend the service was poor and the food overpriced for frozen packet Kalamari. Had to ask the waiter for bread four times. I hope its only teething problems as the decor was very impressive.

Also in Ozankoy, went to Patina and was very dissapointed. Service slow and steak not cooked properly. Lovely setting but was expecting more.

I have been looking forward to eating at Patina, sounded like a real nice and special occasion "only" place to visit.

How would you rate it compared to say,, St. Tropez. ( a higher calibre place and one of my faves.).

I have heard in the past that Patina is supposed to be good, but as yet I've not been there. Personally for my special occasions I would chose either the Bellapais Gardens (in the shadow of the Abbey with stunning views), or my recent new favourite place, Guido's up in Alsancak - very intimate, superb food and a great welcome (good wine too).

Went to Patina early this year very disappointed. Try the new Chandelier restaurant on bend before you go into Bellapais, wonderful service and food.
