I have just joined because a pal of mine is a member.

Some of you may know me/know of me, as I was illegally deported from the South in 2001.

I have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Cyprus "problem" which as you know the Turks resolved in 1974.

I lived in Cyprus for 3 years prior to my deportation and if I can be of help to any forum members, please ask away

Hi Turtle

Still on going, case in now in the ECHR (European Court of Human Rights) as the Cypriot courts ruled (no surprises) that my deportation was legal

Hi Spider

I know how to deal with Cypriots, (the good and the bad ones!) There are a few people alive who have seen both the best and the worst Cyprus has to offer. I am one of them.

My best pal of 50+ years is a Cypriot, I was a friend of the old president Rauf Dentas, I love Cyprus, it is a beautiful island and it used to be full of loving, kind, hospitable people.

Someday, Insh-Allah it may return to what it was.

Hi Brian

How are you old bean?

Good to see you are still around,

I must admit that I would have thought you would have given up all hope of coming back to Cyprus by now. Do not forget that people have long memories, especially Cypriots (and of course the Brits that lost money on dodgy property deals).

Hi Dave

Never really gave up the idea of returning to Northern Cyprus, They can keep the South.

Although it was often said of me (and the simple one Graham Cockroft) I never sold any property in the North, legal, illegal or Dodgy wise.

It was one of the many dollops of shit the Cypriots threw at me, in the hope I suppose that some of it would stick.

It was a strategy of theirs to discredit people who criticised them, either they would say you owned property in the North or you were selling it.

Once I have secured the ECHR judgement against Cyprus, I may want to return to the South, if only to "piss up their leg"

Regards

Brian
