We will be expanding our fleet in 2011 would welcome feedback on the type of cars people wish to hire ex; Jeeps, small compact, family saloon or 7 seater.

r u giving only to the expats or to the turkish people too? a lot of rentals i know only give rent to the english people which i consider racist. if you did so then perhaps in 2011 you should re evaluate your policy then. so long as they pay they have right to rent

I usually like to hire something roomy : e.g. Ford Fusion.



Ideally would like 4-wheel drive when go exploring mountains, or driving off-road somewhere in Karpas etc. but find hire price of 4-wheel drive cars to be very expensive.

What do we look for? depends on time of year early then don't need air con mid season then Ford Fiesta was good for us. but then if we bring friends then something larger required.



Sorry, but with a question like that it's like asking how long is a piece of string!



However, just by asking the question shows that you have the customer in mind.

I used Pacific for the first time last week good company good car and excellent staff and service, why go elsewhere, I have hired elsewhere before but have already booked pacific for the next trip.

For the Pacific Rep - I think the bulk of people I know just require a small 4-5 person runabout with aircon. Your Hyundai Getz / Ford Focus range would fit the bill and should be top of the list for replacing your fleet.



I believe your taxi transfer prices increased this month - can you confirm?

We can confirm that the taxi company we use increased the price of transfers from Larnaca to central Kyrenia at the beginning of this month: The cost is now £40 one way in a standard taxi, £45 one way in a 7 seater.

We believe this still offers good value for money for a private transfer in a legal taxi driven by competant drivers!

What I would really like is for a car rental company to allow us to go south as at present with us hiring a car we are stuck in the north, which is good but would like to visit the south now and then

Here here Smoggyjim, we can do it with a GC hirecar, why don't the TC hire companies allow it. We know that it can be done legally.

Dont usually use this company, but, when we have hired a car that had been left for us at Ercan, I always find a problem with the boot!!! Never big enough to take the cases. We only require a small car that takes 3/4 people but need a boot that will take a normal size case.

We had a Fiesta this time and it was fine. But in the past, had to have people sitting on the cases!

A diesel option for those of us who enjoy clocking up the miles just touring. Servicing of these vehicles is easier and the engines last a lot longer too.

We always have the Ford Torneo 8 seater but find they are few and far between. Pity we can't hire a bigger car or mini bus as we are a big family.
