No comment on the content of the articles, but Helena Smith is a well known (infamous?) Athens based GC. In the past she has been less than friendly towards the North.

maybe she should also be writing about the problems in the property market in the south. i have read recently that it is taking longer to get title deeds in the south than it is here in the north!

While in no way condoning criminals being able to escape justice by bolting to TRNC,the story is just a repetition.

As it is obviously not to inform, seeing as the whole world by now knows,one has to question the authors agenda.

Accepting there might be a level of collusion within the establishment, I am willing to bet that 100% of ordinary folk are embarrassed by the situation and would like nothing better than to have normal extradition relations with rest of europe.

Unfortunately being declared a non -state ,the situation is outwith the control of the trnc authorities,unless forewarned of a criminal landing in Ercan.
