I've downloaded the first three episodes and the photography looks stunning... It will be interesting to see what Trevor McDonald has learned and has to say about Cyprus..

This program is obviously the reason he was spotted in the harbour back in May with camera crew. At least it is not a political / property coverage (hopefully)

Have been watching each programme and really enjoying it. Some fantastic locations not well

known to most folk. I especially wanted to see the one which included Santorini as my daughter

had said she would get married there later this year (but not sure if it's a goer now as you can't

fly from Glasgow) but it is some other secret place on the Med.

Very interesting programmes. Hope they show more than just Nicosia old airport when they do

Cyprus next week.

We have been watching them. So far an excellent programme and the locations look fantastic. Have learnt a lot about the med that we didn't know. Hope next weeks programme is as good.

I have three downloaded and on disk will complete the series this Tuesday if anyone would like to borrow it you are welocme- a small donation to 'Help for Heroes' would be a nice gesture.

We seem to have forgot our own, in the midst of other appeals.

Don't forget the programme featuring Cyprus is this evening at 8pm UK time and repeated an hour later on ITV+1. Should be interesting to see how its edited.

What are the chances that they say the word "invasion" and lean on the fact that the UN don't recognise the Northern State?

I think what Stelios is standing for and encouraging along is very encouraging.

If only he would get a similar joint children's organisation developing - that would save the coming generations from waste.

Alas, the key thing in my mind is that the choice as to what happens may no longer up to the Cypriots of either language. The moment Turkey took up its option as a guarantor, the future was largely transferred to its discretion.

A eutopian view may be the people seeing the sense that they have more to gain as a united and independent island and act to make that Green Line irrelevant.

Returning to the topic, an excellent perspective put forward by this program.

And did you spot who Sir Trev was interviewing? Our Izzet! Yes, founder of Cyprus44! I nearly fell of my chair back here in the UK when I saw him! Well done that man - he looked very relaxed and the footage of Kyrenia was good, even if the rest was a bit dominated by flags. Why do these crews never go the Karpaz for footage?!

If anyone can get round the usual "non-UK' webite blocks in the TRNC, it's on ITVPlyer at http://www.itv.com/itvplayer/video/?Filter=207939

For those who did not see it - the report was fair and as is often the case some inaccuracies (I'm sure the Greek Cypriots would say the same).

Izzet (who set up and runs Cyprus44) was mentioned and for those of you who do not know it he runs a travel business in North Cyprus and also a car hire company that does go across the border it is to be found at http://www.cyprus-car.com (Izzet does not use his own forum to promote himself very much so I am doing it for him.)

Good for Stelios ! He will not be popular with the usual moaners and groaners on the other side - Easyjet flights next to Ercan !!
