The camera housings have been installed to be soon followed by the electronics in the camera stands between Starlings at Alsancak to Karsiyaka

hope that they slow traffic down on this road

Two other cameras have been installed. One by the Park Cafe and the other between the Semina Hotel and Hos Bes market in Karsiyaka.

Wish we had one near our shop, with several large carparks on either side of the main Çatalköy road (ours and Hurdeniz and Tempo etc) its a very dangerous place to overtake - but sadly a very popular place to overtake!!

I would suggest that you will pay if you speed and your definition of legal won't be asked for.

Are they legal!

Whats the matter with people.

They have been fitted for a porpuse,we like it or not is another matter. Now that they are there, either slow down (if you need to)or pay the fine and get the points.Simple.

The amont of accidents happening around here,I'm glad they are finaly in force.

Cannot understand why Camera being fitted opposite Starling in Alsancak is still 65km - a real case for 50km there I would have thought

When I was home last I was daydreaming a little when I noticed a cop car behind me I looked at my speed and was doing 75 klicks, I hit the brakes and the copper overtook me. Its more than speed cameras needed on that road.

Time to get cruise control fitted to my car methinks.

Do you want one Ismet? Maybe if we bought two we could get discount and you would not have to waste your time and money going to court.

I got a navigator now which gives me an audible warning when within 500 metres of a camera. Most cameras are marked on it and I marked the new ones. So my performance has improved and in the last 9 months I missed only one camera. I hardly ever go over 80 km/h but slowing down to 50 or 65 km/h on a double lane is another matter.

ismet

All this talk surprises me, when I am driving to work I never have anyone in front of me who looks in danger of exceeding 50 kph at all, even on the bypass
