And company filings show he was also awarded shares currently worth $12.6m, a 42% hike from the the stock bonus he received for 2009.

It comes even after the bank's profit fell 38% in 2010 to $8.35bn.

Banks were pressed to reduce bonuses in 2009 after the 2008 global economic collapse, largely blamed on bankers.

When is this process going to stop? No person on earth is worth that much. The award robs others of a decent standard of living, as it has to come from somewhere.

Do you think pay awards of this type have no effect on the rest of the world?

How long before UK bosses say 'what's good enough for Blankfein is good enough for me'

The whole culture of corporate greed is exported around the globe.

They (bankers) should still be hanging their heads in shame.. after all the negative effects are still with the global economy.
