I am in the process of having a villa built by Greatstone Construction, why are you advising people to stay well away ?

Has anybody else had a problem with Greatstone, as they have had some good reviews on this forum.

I am in the process of buying through Greatstone and can only speak as I find, to date my villa is progressing well, I receive regular updates by means of photos, we have requested alterations to our villa and our builder has been more than happy to comply with them.



Can be a little slow in replying to emails but a recent email informs me that should be rectified and that replies will be more prompt.



I too am curious of Marble's warning.

I to have a villa being built by Great Stone at Esentepe, OK things are behind schedule but at least we will get our villa built to our specifications, and our estate finished, please enlighten us as the reason a negitive post is put out about this company, and why hide your email address, is there somthing we should know?.



I am more than happy with my build, and personaly belive they are doing a good job

I too am still waiting for your reply,

We have had 2 Positive comments back from buyers of Greatstone Properties,

you cant just tell people not to buy, and then dont give your reasons for the negative comments that you have posted.

Hi we are also buying from Greatstone at Esentepe and so far very pleased with the build the vila looks lovely and is almost finished just the roads to finish off. yes a little late and communication could be better but otherwise very pleased Very friendly builder nice family

We were over last week and are more than happy so far with our villa.



Ok there were small things that needed addressing and they are more than happy to put them right, and have done so during the whole process.



Tash, has made great efforts to see that things are sorted once pointed out.



Marble, I ask again, why you post a negative comment or are you just playing mischief??

Good Paul thanks. We had a good trip, got quite alot sorted really and for the first time had time to enjoy some spare time, probably cos there's not that much wrong really, so we have to be greatful that things are being done for us.... i.e. the builder.



I actually had time to do some diving which was great and all from the hotel (Sempati) that we stayed at, so easy for us, only 15 mins walk to the site for us.



Great to see Hull doing all those London teams in London...... Hope 4 Grimsby yet................not.

Maybe marble is one of those doom and gloom people, to make such a statement then explain his comments-------strange, I am heading out to NC 26th October to 2nd November, planning to stay at our place on Great Stone Park, (genarator for Electric), but I will be happy, antbody wants updates or photos just give me a shout off board

We were over there 2 weeks ago. Your villa was looking really good. Who is doing your garden? Lovely job. I regret that I cannot join you this time for that Efes, just stack em up!



Have a really enjoyable holiday. Our regards all round. Photos are always welcome, if you have the opportunity.

Not a problem on the photos and updates, the person doing our landscaping is called Ali, he was recomended by Tass, he took arround Girnie and saw about six others gardens he had done and were impresed, we told him what we would like, he then came up with a very detailed blue print for the garden what, when where,plants, trees would go ect,some changes were made to our original plan but for the better, agreed a price the rest is history, will see the garden when were out in October.
