RE msg 5, jenny278: It's not called ASDL but ADSL.

Read all about it here: ▶ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asymmetric_Digital_Subscriber_Line

And can you get it: easy answer: only if you have a land line.

Connect ExPat Shield and then go to this site: speedtest.net It'll show you where your allocated IP is.

if you find that it's going to the USA, not UK, that's your problem.

On the other hand, look on the bright side. You can now explore some of the US TV sites and watch their series. Try ABC, Hulu, NBC, Fox, CBS (all www .com ).

Good Tip aussie. I am in NY.

Luckily I do not depend on EPN for my online TV here on the Karpaz.

you could ask mmmmmm he's giving free VPNs he may help you, or download, Mask Surf 2.5 Professional from http://www.torrentz.com but most VPN programs tend to slow your connection, I think that ExPat Shield are looking into this problem and may have it sorted soon.

Re message 12:

Thanks for that, but it seems to be taking a while to log in. The icon is constantly green/yellow meaninf connecting, it had been for about 5 minutes now, it does not seem to want to connect. Does it take a long time until it is fully connected?
