Was walking up in the mountains above Belllapais today and came across a white plastic bag by the side of the track full of bones and meat all covered in a white powder, I am assuming poison. Luckily all my dogs were muzzled. I brought the bag home and have disposed of it safely. I also came across a dead fox, I presume poisoned. Just to remind everyone not to walk your dogs in the mountains unless muzzled or on a lead.

Scoty - if only it were that simple. Maybe if the police were to investigate AND PROSECUTE things would change. But from experience when cases are reported to the police (with evidence incl stomach contents etc !) their attitude is generally the usual shrug of shoulders, tut, and "it is only a dog" response.
