Well I have used Iphone 3 and 4 and about three different generations if Ipod no problem so sure you will be fine as long as you dont expect internet access that is

I have on my iphone but its horrendously expensive

My young kids once went on Youtube without me knowing and I ended up with a bill for £500

I switch the connection off now on landing and use a Telsim Dongle with my laptop

The ipods we have can be used on a wireless internet connection at home but dont have a 3G connection anyway
