Can anyone give an update on whether the Courts and Land Registry are operational?

Trying to obtain a Court judgement and transfer of deeds, but the strikes appear to be ongoing - according to my lawyer.

Nicosia, Famagusta and Kyrenia courts are on indefinite strike. Just out of curiosity, is your lawyer hoping to get a court order for the transfer of title deeds? Did he file the case within two months of the contract date or did he find another way to get round the Specific Performance Law? Just curious

Hi Ismet. We have discussed this before, but to refresh your memory, a Court Judgement was obtained 12 months ago for the builder/landowner to transfer the property. He hasn't complied and so an enforcement order (this may be the wrong term) has been obtained. Unfortunately the strike has prevented this from taking place. I am also awaiting a judgement on my compensation claim, but again thwarted by the strike.

Will do Ismet. And thank you for

all your advice and support over the years. But of course it's not over until it's over.
