Importing a car into North Cyprus?

Driving toTRNC later this year to take up residency, other than having Green Card insurance, UK road tax and ownership papers in order when we arrive in port; do I require to have some sort of Vehicle Import Licence, and how long can I drive said car on UK Doc's in Cyprus.

Import license is gained here after arriving and when you decide to pay the duties.Make sure you as much uk tax as possible as it is valid here.

You'll first be given 30 days permit.You can extend it by 6 months after and if lucky further 6 months after which is where having valid uk road tax comes handy.

Do also please make sure you have ALL papers regarding the vehicle.

Thanks for that yorgozlu, you seem to be 'the man' when it comes to local information. We are flying over in late March just for a few days to clear a few matters up, and ask a lot of quesion in preparation to our move out there. So will keep in touch.
