subject says it all. I want to go somewhere nice and sunny and warm. Possibly quite cheap. Can you get flights to Kenya from Kibris?

Mike the people we work with are half expecting people to travel there in March so watch this space.

Or look on http://www.flightholiday.co.uk

Their comment yesterday:-

For travel to Egypt from March onwards, we will be assessing the situation day by day. Given the uncertainty of the current situation, if you are travelling from 01 March to 31 March, you may defer your travel arrangements to Egypt now, or travel to an alternative OTG destination. These changes are free of charge.

Just had friends who have been to Sharm and say its brilliant- nice and quiet and prices are at a giveaway. Food, drink etc all cheap as chips as there is hardly anyone there!

Oman is a wonderful place for a holiday...not just modern marvels to see as in Dubai but old 15th Century forts etc...only trouble is, like everywhere, it's getting a bit pricey!

The chances are where ever you go, one of these revolutions may start anywhere from Arab lands to South Africa. What is strange is that living in Cyprus you are not getting enough sun and wish for more.

Have you heard what it does to your skin?

go to india mate!!

its absolutley boiling this time of year as its the dry season.its 100f on the beaches!

very very cheap as well!

in goa,car hire is £6 a day,£3 a day mopeds and royal enfield bullets....if your into your bikes..

loads to see, loads to do....crocodile river cruises, fishing, dhudsagar waterfalls, dolphin trips,etc...

sit down meal for two,in a nice restaurant, about £10,with drinks.

i always go up to the north beaches, they are like paradise..

ive done a "robinson crusoe" a few times and hired a very comfortable beach house,on a deserted beach......£3 per night, great food.

you can get a visa quite quickly from the indian embassy in lefkosa, couple of jabs from the doctors and you are off.

flights from istanbul were flashing up during the week at £379.

take £600 with you and you will live like a king for a fortnight........

highly reccommended...........do it!!!.......lol

Yes... do it laptamike, do as bigjuss says, its simply fabulous in Goa.... the robinson crusoe beach huts are basic but so back to nature, on the beach with stilts and the surf just lapping around. The sunsets are something else, nothing can compare with these evenings....

Mike Msg 12 - Glad to hear the money is back with you. Picking up from two suggestions have a look at these for ideas about the destinations or even better to buy:

Msg 13 India - http://www.flightholiday.co.uk/India_Tours.php

Msg 16 Jordan - http://www.flightholiday.co.uk/Jordan_Tours.php

Shrimp - not being personal, but is there any reason why you can't go?

I, also, can highly recommend Goa - I'm sure you'd love it

always fancied Thailand and Goa. Don't fancy the flight though. I suffer from a bad back so even flying UK-Cyprus leaves me in agony.

LaptaMike - Don't you have to have special 'jabs' to cover you for holidays to exotic climes ? (e.g. Goa, India etc). On the assumption you do, there's also a need to allow time for the immunisation processes to take hold and offer you the protection that's needed B4 you actually fly out to those places. Also - can't you rebook to Sharm, flying direct from Larnaca ? The point being to bypass Cairo while things remain unsettled. ( Just a thought as I don't know the answer to that one. )

If you go to Sharm you might meet up with Mubarak family!

Think you can fly to India from Larnaca. Would like to do this some time.

Shrimp - never mind. You'll have to carry on using your powers of persuasion! I bet he'd really enjoy it if you could finally get him there

Still, as you say - maybe one day.
