Hi Breezboy I would coat all the timber with a PVA which will soak into the wood and seel it then put a stain on top of that that should be good for the coming sumer sun

Hi Breezboy sorry but the delivery is not included in the price dont have the transport for it but would ask a neighbour, if he wants to put a price on it then you would have to cover it at your end

Not trying to stick up for GBJohn but being his neighbour I had seen him built few wooden benches,I do not think there is anyone on the island building anything with wood with as much pride and care in what one does.
