Hi Colin,

I didn't invest there but I did live there. Investing there is not for the faint hearted. If you don't have any luck here you could try asking on this site for expats in Ukraine.

Hope it helps.

and the problem is?????

I may be a first time poster but I've been here for quite a while. Why the OP posted the topic here I have no idea. I have some knowledge of the country so I replied, don't read anything more into it.

and by the way, the country referred to is Ukraine.....not the Ukraine.

My apologies, but two first time posters, off topic, and a link has historically meant someone is trying to spam or scam. I take back my original wariness.

Mahdel you are quite correct to question why would anyone ask this question on a TRNC forum.

My wife is Ukrainian by birth and I visit regularly.

The last place on earth I would invest is Ukraine, often referred to by my friends and in laws as The Ukraine.

If you think there are a lot of bent bastards in TRNC then go and have a look over there.

Their builders are worse than ours in Cyprus and the government couldn't lie straight in bed.

Crayfish

Do you have an address and phone number for this company. I am assuming they are in Ukraine. My wife is there at the moment visiting her mother. She may be able to ask questions as she has contacts in the business world there Please tell us what you want.

My e-mail is under members info.

Are they covered by the Financial Services Authority and did you invest directly or through an intermediary. If the latter are they covered by the FSA?
