Does anyone know which is the safest way

to get mail delivered from the uk to northern cyprus

I have had two registerd packages sent from the uk

and not recieved them.

We traced them to Turkey and the tracer information

said "in transit"but that was two weeks ago and the

packages where posted four weeks ago.

Do we have a U.P.S service or similar here

All information would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Ron

Did you check with the local post offices to see if your package has been received?

Have you checked the TRNC postal service track and trace service by putting your international signed for deivery in the box.

Make sure you never ever put anything Cyprus in the mail.

Always use mersin:10 KIBRIS

TURKEY

(LAST TWO PARTS OF THE ADDRESS)

also never use kyrenia or famagusta , use the turkish names.

Anything normally for signature would normally have to be collected at the post office.

You can use the TRNC track and trace sevice . http://www.postadairesi.com/index.php?lang=tr.

Check with Lefkosa because i believe the post stops there first.

Also if it was a high value item, it may be held up with customs?

Certain times of the day the system closes. Do try again.

Just wondered if you ever got the registered mail, I am still waiting for a packet posted registered four weeks ago, this has been tracked to the Turkish postal service but nothing since then.
