Pop in to any of the PC stores (or ISPs) and they'll make you one.

Careful what you ask for ...

Many modern network cards don't need a crossover cable; they auto-detect the incoming 'handshake' signal and respond appropriately. If both the computers you intend to link are fairly recent, try a stock network cable. You can probably borrow one from a friend or neighbour; many people have a few spare.

Cat5 refers to way the cable is made and is usually specified for shielding against interference; it is probably irrelevant in what is usually a short cable used to intermittently connect a laptop or netbook to a home PC.

If this is not enough to blow your mind: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category_6_cable then follow it up with this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category_5_cable and then end your day with a quick browse through this: http://www.querycat.com/question/f34d5a3290b3a65d77e722ae12e775b0

Now that you are armed with all the information you could possible need to connect your two PC's together why not link them with a wireless router or install a system server and dedicated network infrastructure - OR - nip down to Mr Pound, I saw some in there last week at 4TL each! Any computer shop will do it for you - just a bit of old techies fun first thing in the morning - lol.

it's a standard network cable connecting a network card to a router, should be able to buy off the shelf.
