Today I'm driving the route to prepare the first draft of the "Charity Route 2011 map" (more about it in a new thread later). When I'm back I'll follow up this Quiz-09. But for now: still more to find...

RE msg 15, Woodspeckie: The bars are stll there. Sorry: 0 points.

RE msg 16, Spangles: Sorry: no.

RE msg 17, No1DoyenL: yes, but no. The picture (at right) is only PART of the whole building. Very stupid try, Bill.

RE msg 18, Spangles: Right. But I don't judge it a point winning difference. Window open, window closed: window is still there and that's what it's all about...

RE msg 19, No1DoyenL: I've been away a whole day and this is what you come up with..?! Tsk.

I'm waiting for smarter participants...

There must be a reason why you didnt show the top, could it be a different building.

RE msg 23, Turbo: "Drainpipe": see msg 2 by No1Doyen. Sorry, no point.

RE msg 24, No1Doyen: Wrong. There are differences, but it is the same building (in 1899 and 2006).

RE msg 25, Turbo: Reason "I didn't show the top": At the time I had to stand close to the Selimiye Mosque to photograph this side of the building (Chapter House) and this is what I could capture on camera. Nowadays I make several pics and use stitching software - the result would be the complete building.

Attention: you have till 7 pm today (Thursday, 24 Feb, 2011) to find one or more differences...

Our guest, Trix' Dutch friend Gemma, has invited us for dinner at Guido's and our Italian friend has confirmed his famous steaks... So, one hour earlier than promised in msg 26 I have to close Quiz-09. And there is no way out for me: I have to declare Moderator Bill the winner with two points...

To complete the list of differences: in 1899 there was a low wall connected to the Chapter House (possibly a small courtyard?) - that wall has gone. Check my words here:

A lot of wrong speeches this week: Kadaffi, Bill,... Bill, I'll have my 12 year old brother from Holland come over to hand you the award. Sorry, you can't ask me to do it...
