| Can Left Hand Drive vehicles be registered and driven in the TRNC? has anyone brought vehicles in from the UAE / GCC States? Any advice please. I would hate to sell it. |

| yes , its not allowed , i lived in dubai severel yrs and tried to import my LHD car when here , only to find out you cannot !! , its still parked up in dubai :( the rules were changed in 2008-9 i think , so only lhd imported proir to that date exist here however i do have a LHD vehicle already here and registered that i want to sell if ur interested |

| More trouble than it is worth. read the car importation threads on this site, lots of sad stories, not really the LHD problem, more the cowboy approach to sticking to rules regarding import taxes/duties. Once your car is here you are stuffed. sell it and buy oine here, we did All the best IBN |

| But I understand you can still import a LHD car from Turkey. So, maybe take the car to Turkey from the UAE, register it there, and then bring it here. Bit messey, but might work? Geoff |

| Importing from Turkey must be the only way to import a LHD vehicle - I guess that is how Cratos managed to get all its ludicrous vehicles onto the roads here. All brand new LHD vehicles as well. |
