Anybody used these or have any comments. Their rates seem very reasonable...much less than many other companies.

Used them for dozens of visits by my large family for many years and they were fine. However, when gear box casing cracked by a "flying stone" their insurers refused to pay saying police report needed. Protested why a police report when no accident or other party involved. Also cost of police report not covered by insurance. Asked Ali to take the matter up with his appointed insurers and he refused and demanded the money. I asked him to share the cost with me in recognition of the dozens of bookings made and the numerous visits to his restaurant. His wife urged him to agree but he refused. Have never been back there for car hire, taxi hire, or catering in the last to years. Overall I guess that the service is as good as it gets here in TRNC but I refused to give further business to somebody who was not willing to support his customers when they are subjected to a scam. The insurance cover paid for was alledgedly fully comprehensive with nil contribution by hirer.

Always found them very helpful. But if renting later in the season, just make sure you check everything is still working and the tyres have air in them.

Amenya are great, we use them every time we come over and have done so for the past 4 years. Very helpful and once when they let us down insisted on free transfers from/to Ercan on our next visit. Highly reccommended.

Well..I gave them a go and on the whole it wasn't bad at all.

Transfer from Larnaca was on time and in Mercedes 7 seater.

Wrong car supplied on arrival (Fiesta) but changed the next day for right one (Focus). Car was best I've hired since I've been visiting TRNC during last three years.

Collection from Karmi was delayed..but then most people get lost up there!

Worst part was drive to Larnaca...driver seemed distracted and kept looking at something to his left on passenger seat....swerved about a bit and nearly crashed into road works near St Hilarion! He was a bit too fast too on the motorway from Nicosia to Larnaca.

Yeah...I'd use em again...238 pounds for a nine day hire (including Larnaca transfers) aint bad is it?

We have used them on numerous occasions and have been very pleased with the price and service. When we were over in April we took receipt of a Fiesta, one of their new fleet of hire cars.

When we did have a fault with previous hire vehicle we just took it back to the office and it was sorted out while we waited and were given drinks while we sat and talked to the very pleasant and efficient office staff.
