If this was not so worrying for the UK tax payer then it would be comical.

Read this very carefully:

the important bit is

A draft copy of a government review of its £7.8bn overseas aid budget - to be published this week - also reveals assistance for India will be frozen.

But, overall, the international development budget will rise by a third in this parliament, it says.

It would nice to see a breakdown of where this money was spent in each individual country that 'development aid' was given.

There has been criticism about posts like "walking co-ordinator", "roller disco coach", "bouncy castle attendant", "cheerleading development officer", "future shape programme manager" and "Nuclear Free Local Authorities policy officer".

The art of providing aid to another Country has always been an essential way of increasing the number of contracts that are given to UK Companies.

For the uninitiated, this how it works....

1. A.N.Other Overseas Country applies to the UK for aid to say...... build a new hospital

2. UK send a large diplomatic mission to said Country, and agrees to aid package on the understanding that a certain UK Country is given contract to build such hospital and necessary infrastructure.

3. Aid package given.

4. UK company carries out project and submits invoice to Country in question.

5. Country defaults regarding payment

6. Company submits bill to UK Government, who pick up the tab to prevent bad P.R.

7. See 1 above.

And the world goes round.

Be carefull, you are leaving yourself wide open with that statement.

Would you care to discuss why you think what was posted by the BBC as being 'leftist propaganda'
