Could any owner from Turtle Bay rell me how much they pay for water. I understand from the Cyprus Today Newspaper that you have a desalination plant. Your site looks fab, are the service charges high? Are all properties fully sold out?

Weve only just switched over to using the water from the desalination plant and paid for connection to it. None of us have had a bill yet from the Council (well I dont think so anyway) so wont know how much it costs but we have been told we will get it at cost. Yes there are apartments left but mainly penthouse apartments I think.

every owner has paid between 800 and 1200 pounds towards the de-sal plant. it was built in israel. a further 200 pounds has been levied by the belideye. they have now been gifted it by the developer, maintainance charges are 45-60 pounds. i have a 2 bed i will sell.

The bills are currently being issued and they seem to be in line with the village of Esentepe prices vary according to use but the average seems to be about 10/12 ytl a month for properties regularly occupied

Bored housewife I thought you knew me, so who is this charlie chappie?? are you two timing ??

In answer to your question the Esentepe Belidiere will I assume issue the bills, usually bi monthly, and penalties are added for late payment as with the Electric bills.

But guess what we have had little or no water the past couple of days again some system HUH!!!

Hi G&T - none of us are sure yet how to pay the water. I think once everyone has paid their connection fee things will be a little clearer. Someone said they put the water bill under your door every month. Am waiting to find out and when we do will let you know.
