Where would you go for this spec. (not mine)

- tender

- thickly butchered ( normal weight overall)

- well done (yuk)

- strong pepper sauce.

The best pepper steak was Nasser's at Shirley Valentines imho, meat sourced in Alsancak (I am told)

Thoughts appreciated

We really miss succulent rib-eye steaks... does anyone know where you can get one or buy the meat and DIY?

To be fair, the animals are slaughtered by means not used in the non Muslim world....And the Beef is "FRESH"not HUNG for 20 odd Days,,,it makes an enormous difference to the overall taste/quality....

When I was quite poorly last year I had to eat more red meat. We love Veni Veci and they served beautifully cooked rare/medium steaks for me!

So where can you the beef that has been hung as we are used to? Have tried all the supermarkets and even Kibet butchers but none compare with Waitrose Aberdeen Angus steak!
