Rottolover, what can you expect from a team that narrowly escaped another loss against Holland (I estimate only 1,000 players..!)..?!

I just finished watching the game, derm, and I have to say it was one of the most exciting ODIs I've ever seen, and that includes the last WC final when Oz beat Sri Lanka.

Wonderful stuff. I'm only sorry that the Netherlands didn't do the job as well....that tenderscarty is really pretty good.

rowlo, you've forgotten what cricket is all of a sudden?

You seemed to have a pretty good idea about the game after the Ashes win in Australia recently....

RE msg 9, newscoop: Quiz question 2: Would there still be quality Premier League football if clubs with talent from the Continent could no longer be plundered - with money from highly suspicious sources between the Ural mountains and the "English" Channel...

DC;

I think you are referring to Chelski and Arsenal, other clubs such as Spurs are self sufficient.

PSV in the old days were pretty good at plundering Brazilian youngsters but have lost the knack.

As for Ajax, need I mention Surinam etc?

After the Holland Team screwed up the last World Cup final for those who had anticipated a feast of total football I prefer that they be ignored until they return to the style of play which made them a joy to watch.
