I'm sorry, but there are NO places left for the Nicosia Walk (Medieval Cyprus Fellowship, MCF) on Friday, 11 March!

For people who want to join this Sunday, March 6 (MCF Kyrenia Walk): there are only two places left. Mail me at mcf.trnc@gmail.com if you want them - I'll confirm via email at once.

I forgot to add how much I enjoyed todays Famagusta Walk. Several participants (including C44 Historical Quiz winner "Donty") were fascinated by the Martinengo Bastion. They explored the recently excavated stairs into the heart of this medieval military masterpiece (Venetian era in Cyprus, 1189-1571), which meant we had a later lunch than usual...

P.S. And I learned something during lunch also albeit not about Famagusta - I had never seen a 5 Pound note from the Isle of Man... One question remains: why is it a Manx (yes, Man with an x) banknote and not a Mannish banknote or..

Another cracking walk Hans. Thank you again!

Really pleased to get inside the Martinengo Bastion and to see the recently uncovered, old graffiti. I will be going back to explore the place again.



Now to try to find time to do the other walks you do!
