Two days ago I was woken in the early hours from a dog barking/crying, After going outside to see what the problem was I found a stray dog with a badly broken leg. I made it up a bed outside and gave it water etc. The next morning I had to call KAR for some help as it was happy to sleep but when it saw my pointer it went ballistic.

KAR was very good but said they could not come out and collect for at least a couple of days. I said I could bring the dog to the center, this was not a problem and I took it today. Someone was waiting to meet me at the center and they had made kennel space ready for the dog. (How I dont know with so many up there!) They have taken it in now and said it will see Firdez (vet) tomorrow and they will let me know the situation... Yes I left a donation,, 100Lira to go towards any vet fees for the poor little fellow..

Respect is due to the KAR workers, and at no point did they not care....

Hi Liz. I didnt tell you because I knew you would worry.

After taking him to KAR, seeing what work they do up there and the help they gave me and the poor dog I feel it was the best option for him. Also being a street dog he was attacking Milly all the time, when all she wants is to just play...



I will call them on Monday to see what the outcome is, but I feel it wont be the best of news with the badly broken leg he had.

They have 3 legged dogs at the center but as the saying goes.... "Money Talks"

Well Done. You done the best thing, Ive got 3 dogs and I think if that happened to me, as much as I would love to take care of it....my dogs would no way let that happen! 3 jealous bitches!
