How about a drop in centre or community centre or youth clubs or any social clubs specifically for ex pats, there are thousands of you and none of you seem to know anything much more than the time of day.I may sound harsh but it's what I see here.Until you all start to pull in the same direction at the same time you are going to continue to be victims of bureauocracy and fraud from all angles.

Christ almighty I feel angry and frustrated and I don't even live there. There must be Doctors, Nurses, Lawyers, accountants all manner of professions and skills retired or not who could still provide invaluable advice at least if not practicle help, some of you seem to be floundering and some of you are undoubtably in a position to help, why not help each other? it'll all come round.

Roomy. There are some people who are always willing to help others - however for some there is the old 'bury the head in the sand' syndrome.

wHO IS GOING TO SET IT UP? Don't forget we are all guests here and so cannot juust set up organisations willy nilly. The British Residents Association does its best to give info to its members, and there are always people hwo know people. But of course, the BRS is for British Residents (in the main) and there are now many other nationalities here. Plus, finding answers is often diffiuclt because of the rapid changes in rules and laws here. Nice idea, but who could do it. An individual can't - not really- although there is one English person who has a newsletter that gives useful info from time to time.
