Watching italian TV and they have this tribute programme on from New York. Well what stars they have on Madonna, Sylvester Stallone Paul Anka and many more from italian backgrounds. So many. I watched Paul Anka who is now 70, looks 50, sings with the same voice we know him for. Sylvester cant sing or even speak italian. Looks good though. The programme was for the Italian/American Foundation

The Dignitries etc all from Italian extraction. All the top stars and Italian stars. Things like this are a joy to watch. xx

"My Way" is a song with lyrics written by Paul Anka and popularized by Frank Sinatra. The English version is based on a French song "Comme d'habitude" with music by Claude François and Jacques Revaux, and lyrics by Claude Francois and Gilles Thibault. Anka's English lyrics are unrelated to the original French and Anka is credited as a co-composer of "My Way" because he largely re-wrote the song. "My Way" is often quoted as the most covered song in history.

You should listen to Paul Anka's album 'Rock Swings'. Famous rock songs given the big swing-jazz band treatment. Great stuff.

The man is a legend having written over 900 hit songs. Still manages to visit TRNC on his tour! Amazing at 70....
