Yes, I know 1st April is April Fools Day, but believe me this is as genuine as it gets.

For the first time the Kemal Saracoglu Foundation which helps children with cancer and their families, is having a Flag Day in Kyrenia. It has had one in Nicosia for 7 years and last year raised 15,000TL that way. But the monies required are huge to help these children with treatment, support the family and give whatever help is required (most of the families are very poor).

so, 'Muggins' here has volunteered to get some of you lovely, kind hearted folk to give up an hour or more of your time to shake boxes (you can do that here), use your charm (you can use that anywhere), and whatever means to take money from the public. The more I get, the more areas can be covered.

Already some wonderful folk have volunteered, but just in case some of you here have not heard of it, PLEASE consider - just an hour and a smile and a big heart is all that is required - and contact me either at 0542 882 4313 or
