WBA heavyweight champion David Haye will fight IBF and WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko in Germany on either 25 June or 2 July.

On Saturday, Klitschko withdrew from his bout against Britain's Dereck Chisora that was set for 30 April.

And Haye told the BBC that an agreement had been struck on Saturday night: "I finally had a contract in front of me and couldn't wait to put pen to paper.

"It's the fight every boxing fan has to see, and every sports fan."

A protracted recovery from a stomach muscle injury was given as the reason for Klitschko cancelling the Chisora fight.

David has had to give way on venue and top spot on the bill but it's the fight he wanted, that we all wanted so great news. Mind you I don't know how the estimated £20 million purse will be split between them so maybe David has won that little fight!

Sorry to say, but if Haye performs like he did in his previous fight., Klitschko will batter him. Even at the top of his form, I don't think that Haye is good enough to beat Klitschko. I hope that he proves me wrong.

I hope both men will survive their uncivilised meeting without more brain damage.

There is as much chance of this fight taking place as the Cyprus problem being resolved.

Both sides talk up the match, but in reality it makes much more economical sense for the three of them (2 brothers and David) to keep to their own agendas and hand pick a patsy or two.

We shall see.
