Hi Folks,

Just had a sms from a mate at home telling me Paul Gasgoine (Gazza) was found dead this morning at the Marriot Hotel Gateshead, Hope its not true but has anyone got any info

Hope not, you would think that his friends and ex clubs would give him some help, i know that he has got to help himself but still sad. Just hope the outcome is not inevitable.

When he cried on the pitch that time he became for me, from that time onwards, not Gazza but Wazza.

What a waste of a life. Addictiion in whatever form is dreadful. Two very close friends are alcoholics. One just decided that she had had enough of rehabs, nearly losing a fabulous job and her home and the other most heartrendering was her only child gave up on her. She's got through and is 9 years 'dry' TG. The other is still in denial, rehab after rehab, private education the best that money could buy and now the best his money can buy is VODKA! Surprisingly I had no idea for years they were alcoholics they hide it so well. Gazza thinks that his life is useless maybe just maybe someone or something will come along and he will see the light.
