I live close to Girne, but I cannot find wholemeal flour anywhere. Can anybody point me to a source please?

I have tried Tempo and all the others on the main drag.

Thanks in anticipation

Does it have to be wholemeal or will wholewheat flour (Kepekli un) do? We have got a brand called Söke bought here, probably from Supreme, Erdener or Tempo. Can't remember. Will have a look out and if I see it will let you know.

BusyBee,

I think 'Bugday Un' is plain flour made from wheat. Suitable for general household use but I don't think it's wholemeal flour.

As a matter of interest Supreme Supermarket have today started stocking a range of flours specifically aimed at bread making. The range is extensive and includes wholemeal and rye bread flours.

I bought some from Erulku supermarket yesterday. I was in a plain polythene bag with a small sticker on saying kepek. I found it on the shelf with all the flour and thought it was really cheap at 85 kuros for a kilo.
