We need a good quality shredder... not a silly little desk-top job but one capable of shredding multiple large sheets/newspapers etc...



Nothing sinister, just want to make hamster bedding en-masse...

Just an idea.

Why not pop into one of the small woodworking places on the road into town and see if they got shavings? It is amazing what comes out of a planer/thicknesser. Ramazan, opposite Aladins Cave usually has piles of the stuff or you can ask him to save a binbag full.

Thanks Chegs not looking to import more material into the home... I'd rather use paper we have. Also wood shavings have their own problems.

The wood-workers here seem oblivious to the dangers...

I used to sell in UK.Got a couple of electric ones here.Will only take a4 size paper,but folded newspaper OK,

5mm cut.

I've used one a couple of times......just to bring here,plus done about 10 sheets paper here.
